Pilot G2 Compact

I use these little 8 page notebooks to keep track of what I need to do each week.

They are made from a single sheet of A4 paper. I have a typst template I made for it, and each week I print out a new one and fold it up. Then I fill it out with tasks and mark them off as I go using a pen.

I have a little pouch I made to hold them which fits comfortably into my pocket, along with a mini pen. The pen I've been using is a lamy pico.

The neat thing about this pen is that when you push the end to open it up, it expands to a full size pen.

I really like this pen. However this cool feature comes at a price. Quite literally... The M22 refills it uses are both expensive, and tiny. I would much rather use something like the Pilot G2, which is cheap as chips, and has loads of ink. But it's just too big to fit in my todo-list pouch.

The solution I came up with was to model and print an enclosure which is essentially just the exact size of the refill, plus a bit of thickness to make it as comfy as a normal pen.

Now I've got a pen I like which is still small enough to fit in my pouch thing, without the thought in the back of my head wondering how much ink I'm using.
